A full day devoted to your relationship

An immersive, full-day couples therapy experience in Sonoma County, California.

What becomes possible when you give your relationship an entire day?

Couples Intensives offer the time and space to step away from everyday life and focus fully on one another. Structured therapeutic work, the grounding presence of nature, and thoughtfully integrated expressive arts create the conditions to slow down, see familiar patterns differently, and make room for meaningful change.

An arc of care for your relationship — from preparation to promise.

Your Day Together

Integration

A virtual preparation session with Christy Owens, LMFT to understand your relationship—its history, patterns, and hopes—and thoughtfully shape the experience around what matters most to you.

A day of uninterrupted space for your relationship. Through focused therapeutic work, reflection, and creative exploration, you'll turn your attention fully toward one another and create a shared vision for the relationship you're building together.

A follow-up virtual visit to reflect on the intensive, integrate new insights, and return to the promises you made to one another.

You don't have to wait until your relationship is in crisis to devote a day to it. Couples Intensives can offer space to reconnect, work through patterns that keep repeating, navigate an important transition, or simply become more intentional about the relationship you're creating together.

Traditional therapy sessions can end just as the conversation begins to deepen. A full day offers the time and spaciousness to stay with what matters, explore important patterns, and work without the usual pressure of the clock.

My approach to couples therapy is warm, direct, and collaborative. I draw primarily from Relational Life Therapy (RLT), an active approach that helps couples recognize the patterns keeping them stuck and practice new ways of relating.

I also selectively incorporate Expressive Arts Therapy practices to help you approach difficult topics from a different perspective, deepen understanding, and open new possibilities for connection.
